  1. Secondary email for contacts

    Some of our contacts have multiple email addresses. I wish there was a way to keep those within the same contact and just have primary/secondary designations. That way we wouldn't have to have multiple contact records for the same person.

      This is something that we want to allow as well.

      Since email has traditionally been a unique ID for contacts in HubSpot, this is a tricky one and requires updates throughout various parts of the product.

    • Assign Unique Contact ID (or use the VID that already exists)

      Enabling use of the vid (HubSpot's visitor identification number) would let us do a multitude of things internally.

      Everything from incentivized Friend referral programs to eCommerce Discounts to deeper Lead Scoring tracking techniques.

      Here is where you can currently access the vid through the API, but we shouldn't have to pull something out of the system only to move it back in, while pinging the API each time.

      • Lead Scoring improvements

        There are a few features that I wish lead scoring had.

        1. Allow workflows to change lead scoring. This would allow me to gain all the new feature/functionality that workflows get and implement it into my lead scoring.

        2. Allow me to set the score. If someone does an action like unsubscribes from emails, I would like to set them at a base score. Maybe I even just want to reset them back to 0.

        3. Add a date ranges to conditions. If a user visits my site 5 times over 5 years, that is very different than if they…

          We are interested in improving HubSpot lead score, but, instead of adding manual options, we’d like to make lead score smarter so we can all do less work and get more insight from HubSpot.

        • Allow For Future Date Handling in List/Workflow Logic

          Our visitor base comes to us with a future move date in mind, that we capture. I want to send them emails AFTER getting a quote but BEFORE their move date. Currently all date properties are treated as past dates with drop down options like "was less than" __x__ days AGO. I'm hoping you can add a drop down that offers "is less than" __x__ days away" or "is more than" __x__ days away".

          • Export contact timeline details

            I'd like the ability to export all the details from an individual contact record's timeline, to see the progression from their first touch on the website to becoming a lead - opportunity - closed deal. (copying & pasting doesn't look very nice)

            • Scheduled list exports

              I have used period filtering to create a list that includes conversions for the last 14 days. I want to create a report that goes out to the product manager every 14 days to alert him to new prospects. The report functionality only allows a single property breakout; I would like to generate a list export with defined properties to make the information immediately actionable without needing to access each contact's data individually

              • Use zip codes to auto populate city/state data fields

                If you request zip code data on a form, HubSpot should be able to automatically popular the city and state fields for that particular contact based on their zip code.

                  While the expanded Lead Lifecycle Stages are great, it would nice if we had the ability to custom define and add/remove stages to fit our business's customer lifecycle.

                  • Personas Tool is Missing SQL's & Opportunities

                    The personas tool is very good. I like it a lot. There is a gaping hole in it though.

                    The main dashboard only shows the numbers for Leads, MQLs, and Customers. What happened to SQLs and Opportunities?

                    For those of us using HubSpot as a lifecycle marketing tool, this omission of the lifecycle stages is a big problem.

                    At this point, I log in and do not see contacts currently in the SQL and Opps lifecycle stages in the dashboard, and my clients do not either. Please add the ability to add these columns to the dashboard.

                    • Create smart lists with Salesforce Campaign Status Filter

                      I'd like to be able to create a smart list that includes Salesforce campaign member status, in addition to campaign membership. That way you could include responders or any other custom campaign member status. (Event attendees, no shows, etc.)

                        It would be really useful if we could see what comprised a HubSpot score. With so many different scoring / tracking elements, it would be nice to see how / why a contact got to a certain score.

                        • A Radius Search Function when creating a smart list based on zip codes

                          The ability to create a smart list based on the zip code of the contact using a Radius search function. The current way to do this is typing in each individual zip code, and unfortunately that takes forever.

                            Provide the ability to create lists based off of these events, e.g. contacts who have mentioned you >5 times, contacts who have favorited a tweet, etc.

                              Import Notes into a contact's timeline. We have hundreds of notes logged in our previous CRM (RelateIQ/SalesforceIQ) and would like to add those to HubSpot via an import feature.

                              • CRM/Contacts - Create "Prospect" Lifecycle Stage for contacts added via CRM

                                Since we started using the CRM/Signals, I've been adding lots of people to the CRM directly and via sidekick.

                                But there is not a proper lifecycle stage for these folks. I do not want them to be a subscriber, as they haven't opted in. They aren't really a lead, or an opportunity yet. And they certainly are not an "other"

                                These are prospects. It makes sense to update the lifecycle stage to include this new use of the contacts database, as the CRM will be used to bring in more and more prospects as time goes on.

                                • Allow sales reps to see an automatically sorted list of their leads by lead score or some other significant hubspot data point (in SFDC)..

                                  Marketers are worried that their best leads might fall through the cracks and sales reps will miss an opportunity to call them. They want their best leads (determined by lead score or some other significant HubSpot data point) to show up in Salesforece automatically at the top of an automatically generated list. Other vendors have a tab in Salesforce for this list.

                                    e.g. show me all contacts, with logged activity 'met with' ?

                                    Then, you could see everyone you've met with and assess their progress. Or, examine all those calls that never turned into demos.

                                    • Associate Contacts Original Source Information to Deal Property

                                      Currently there isn't a way to search deals by "Original Source" attributes which makes it a bit of a goose chase when trying to attribute deals to marketing campaigns.

                                      It would be beneficial if the back-end could pass the following "Original Source" related fields into the Deal properties when a Deal is created based on the respective Contact that is chosen.

                                        • Add general criteria for manual lead scoring

                                          Currently, the initial set up of lead scoring is time consuming and requires a lot of maintenance to keep up since criteria for each email, form, etc. need to be entered separately. It would be ideal to have an all-encompassing option that includes any email or any form. A couple examples:
                                          1. Give 5 points for opening ANY email
                                          2. Give 10 points for filling out ANY form

                                          This automation would be much more time efficient and require much less upkeep.

                                            Hi folks – I’m going to leave this open since we could make how to do this more clear in the software, but please note that you can do this based on some existing contact properties. For example, there’s a property for “Emails Opened”, so you could add a score criteria for “Emails Opened > is greater or equal to > 1,” which would give anyone who has opened one or more email the desired point value.
