      Thanks everybody for this suggestion. Optimizing workflows and automated emails is definitely something we would like to have in the future.

    • Folders to organize Workflows

      Similar to the new folders to organize contact list, the same organization for workflows is needed. Many of my workflows automate specific campaigns or simple administrative tasks. Many of them are related or unrelated in someway. I would love a way to better organize each workflow into a folder structure.

        I'd like to be able to have a dashboard where i could see all my workflows and the high level metrics of it, like conversions and grouped by personas. In that way, i would be able to see in a glande which are bad performers and which are the best. It would be also great to have more goals to the same workflow. Like conversion and sales.

          It would be a great feature to implement SASS and {LESS} stylesheets so we could have more flexibility to change themes on the fly and use math to calculate different versions of a colors.

          • We should be able to set the CRM Deal Stage property in workflows

            We should be able to set the CRM Deal Stage property in workflows, so we can send Inline EDM follow ups on mass to sales prospects in the deal funnel.

            This will then automatically jump the prospect to a new deal stage in the CRM.

            I get that there can be multiple deals for one customer, but that just needs a deal ID tag, to get around the problem.

                Thanks everyone for the votes and comments. We are currently working on a way to associate a contact with a campaign to enhance the reporting data. Once that’s live, you should be able to see conversions by campaign and compare them side by side. We’ll keep you updated on progress.

              • IF branches reconnection

                IF statements is a nice addition, but it is useless if the 2 branches created cannot be reconnected to continue a workflow. Otherwise it just forces us to duplicate all the common events in two branches, once the IF exception is passed...

                • Workflow Calendar Option

                  When you are creating a workflow, instead of having to manually count out how many days to delay the next action, we need a calendar option instead. A pop up calendar that we could select the date in the month we want to set. That would be so much more efficient and accurate.

                  • Discontinue workflow with email reply

                    It would be fantastic if we could set a rule that would discontinue a workflow with an email reply. Our clients have sales teams that are concerned that leads reply to these automated emails and then emails continue to be sent out via workflows. This causes confusion with the lead as the new emails that are sent via the workflows show no recognition of the previous email conversation that took place!

                    • Combine workflow actions into a calendar view

                      I would like to view all of a fixed-date workflow's actions in a calendar view. Currently, to see when an upcoming action is scheduled to send, we must look individually at each workflow and find the action within that workflow.

                      I'd like to view a calendar of when workflow actions will occur, essentially re-organizing the workflow actions into a more easily-viewed format.

                      In addition, it would be great to add a feature to view ALL workflow action dates on a calendar, which amalgamates all the actions from all fixed-date workflows into a calendar format. Also offer the option to choose…

                        It would be nice to see some sort of organization or filtering on the workflow page. We have many different kind of workflows currently (drip system, webhooks, notification emails to employees, emails to client/lead ). It would be nice to organize these workflows by email or category. Something deeper than active and inactive.

                          • Workflow Webhook Personalisation

                            When using workflows to ping a custom URL using Webhooks it would be really useful to be able to be able to pass through personalisation tokens in the URL when using GET or set variable so POST.

                            A potential use for this would be to send a text message to our sales guy (who is always on the road) with a contacts first name, lastname and phone number so that when he is able to he can just open the SMS and click on the phone number and have the phone start dialing.

                              We are currently investigating this – but as Alex mentioned in the comment, we support a SMS feature in Workflows currently, so that is something you can use right now.                             • Allowing Workflow Re-Enrollment for Company Properties

                              Allow company property changes to re-enroll contacts into workflows. Currently no company properties can be used as re-enrollment criteria, so although we can use a workflow once to set company record data, we can't do it again.

                              All of our major relationship data is stored on the company record, so not being able to update company record dynamically through workflows has severely limited our use of the Companies module.

                                Similar to "Add to Workflows", there should be a feature where you can turn on Lead Revisit Notifications for a Smart List.

                                There should also be a feature to have lead revisit notifications be off by default, so the user can activate just the ones they want.

                                  Today we mostly use workflows to send drip-emails.
                                  It could be cool to also add a social action, for example:
                                  if someone visits a page of a certain product, send him an email with related content, and also tweet him (if his twitter handle is known on hubspot) with a link to another landing page/infographic/blog post etc.
                                  also a linkedin connect invite could be initiated from workflows.

                                  • Allow HubSpot's built-in form submission notification email to be triggered by a Workflow.

                                    Sometimes we need to send a notification email to a member of the organization ONLY if a user responded to a form in a certain way. In this case, we have to set up a Smart List and Workflow to trigger the email. But that means we have to create the email ourselves, rather than leveraging the built-in HubSpot notification email. And each time we create a new form in which conditional notifications are needed, we have to create another email.                                       It would be great to have a "sync with Salesforce" step as a workflow option. Sometimes my contacts need to be synced with Salesforce before the next step to make sure that the correct contact owner is notified of their activity on the website. While I currently add a 30 minute delay between steps hoping that the contact with sync, it is not 100% accurate and important notifications are lost.

                                        Current functionality only allows to assign the task to the record owner or the integration user.

                                        It is necessary to assign tasks to different users depending on the form or landing page.

                                        For example, "reconversion events" should trigger a task to the VP Sales when a lead reconverts on a certain landing page. The VP will then assign the task out.

                                        This would also be useful for Salesforce orgs that have records owned by inactive users, where assigning the task to the user is not prudent or possible.

                                          It would be great if there was a way for a workflow to send an email on a certain day of the week, but not a specified date.
