  1. Exhange/Outlook integration for contacts and calendar

    Sales people use Outlook, period. And because that's what they use, that's where the information should be at. Best way to achieve this would be via Exchange integration so that people would have access to the same information even on their mobile and wouldn't just be dependent on a single plugin.

    • Duplicate Detection Perfected

      Improve Hubspots CRM duplicate detection by allowing the user to set the criteria for what is considered a duplicate.

      Currently Hubspot CRM will detect duplicates ONLY based on a email address.

      Everybody has multiple email addresses - EVERBODY.

      Allow the user to add other criteria for duplicate detection like LinkedIn profile URL. You can only have one LinkedIn profile URL, so this would make duplicate detection nearly perfect.

        Thanks for this suggestion. I think there’s two ideas here. One is being able to have contacts with multiple email addresses. The other is being able to set personalized de-duplication criteria.

        Both are on our radar, and this is a great idea for an approach.

        We have a number of MAC users. It would be nice to have Sidekick integrate with Outlook for MAC users. Is this a feature that will be available soon?

        • Support multiple currencies

          We operate in multiple countries and most countries have their own currency so we should be able to specify the currency separately for each deal!

            Multiple currencies is something we have planned for the future.

            Currently, you can pick a default currency for your account, but everything must be entered in the same currency.

          • Calculated fields

            Other CRMs such as Zoho and Salesforce allow admins to create custom calculated fields using a formula.

              Calculated fields is a feature we would like to have in the future, but, unfortunately, is not something that we will likely have in 2016.

            • "Pin" a note to the top of a contact or company timeline

              Sometimes important notes get lost - we'd like to be able to pin an important note at the top of a customers timeline.

                Pinning a note is something we’re considering. We’re also considering a search for notes in the timeline. One way or another, we want to solve the problem of finding information in a crowded timeline.

              • Create required fields for Deals in CRM

                There are fields that we would like to be mandatory, fields that the Sales Team can't skip when creating Deals. Would love to have the ability to make fields mandatory where Sales can't move forward without them, holds them accountable and allows us to gather the information we want and need to see.

                • CRM - search by custom properties

                  The CRM search only returns results based on name, email, and phone number.

                  We need the ability to search (not filter) based on custom properties.

                  Use case: I am speaking with someone on LinkedIn and need to find them within the CRM. Her name and email do not give the correct results.

                  If I could search her by LinkedIn URL (custom property) I would always get the correct results because people have many email addresses but only one LinkedIn URL.

                    This is great feedback. Right now, search is limited to only a few properties like email address, name, domain, etc. The reason is to keep search fast and scalable.

                    We’ve discussed adding a feature to allow users to specify the property they want to search for. For example, we could potentially allow you type the following into your search box: Favorite Ice Cream: Vanilla.

                  • Create products/pricebooks, & send/receive agreements/invoices in Hubspot CRM.

                    Create products/pricebooks, & send/receive agreements/quotes/invoices in Hubspot CRM.

                    In order for us to use Hubspot CRM as a stand alone CRM we'd need to be able to choose products within a deal, Calculate the Full Amount if there are multiple products in one deal, and create agreements/quotes/invoices to send (hopefully through electronic signature) to our clients.
                    Then of course be alerted of the returning signed agreements within CRM.

                    Automated Triggers throughout the agreement/quotes/invoices process would be great as well.

                      This will likely be two seperate initiatives, both are things we plan to work on in the future:

                      1) Products/Pricebooks: The ability to set products, quantities, amounts, “one-time” revenue, recurring revenue.

                      2) Invoices, agreements, signature tracking.

                    • Allow a contact to be associated with more than one company

                      In the CRM, allow a contact to be associated with more than one company. This is needed when an employee moves from one company to another (changes jobs) and when contacts do work for multiple companies which are owned by the same holding company.

                      • Overhaul Tasks

                        The current task systems feels like an after thought. I have seen these same requests echoed in ideas already in the system but tasks need more than a couple feature, it needs an overhaul.
                        1. Task should automatically assign a contact and company when created from a deal.
                        2. Tasks should sync with a calendar (Outlook would be nice)
                        3. Tasks should be a property of deal so you can report, view deals or contacts by whether they have a task assigned or not
                        4. Tasks should give the open for "Complete and create follow-up" so you don't have to…

                          We hear you loud and clear on tasks. We are in the early stages of redesigning the task experience throughout the CRM.

                          We may reach out to those who have commented on this thread to get feedback on our designs.

                        • Allow manual insertion of image / logo for companies

                          We were updating the list of companies and the display image doesn't come up for some. The logos of some companies are picked up from the Hubspot DB, but it would be great if we can edit the logo's / image for other companies too.

                          It is quite inconvenient when we look at task cards that do not have any image on it

                          • Import Deals with with associated Contacts

                            We import hundreds of Deals each day for our team to call on. The problem is for the past 6 months we have to manually add Contacts to the Deal.

                            Without the Contact, we're not able to make a call or send an email through the CRM. We also don't know if an Evangelist's Deal was uploaded without going through each one manually.

                            THIS EFFECTS OUR EFFICIENCIES AND CALL VOLUME!

                            Ideally, we would import the Deals with the Contacts already associated to them on the CSV file. This seems like an easy fix.

                              Later this year, we are planning to work on better import, which will include the ability to associate contacts, companies, deals and tasks as part of the import.

                            • Automatically Log Outgoing AND Incoming Email with IMAP/SMTP Support

                              Please add the ability to automatically connect an inbox to the CRM. In other platforms it requires IMAP/SMTP/Inbox credentials to do so. While it would give the platform access to all email, the benefits are tremendous.

                              First, it automates logging of email by not only matching up against contacts you send email, but also contacts you RECEIVE email from. Every element of correspondence is recorded automatically so there is no possible point of failure.

                                We currently have integrations with Gmail and Office 365 that allow tracking outgoing and incoming email. Opening this up for IMAP/SMTP is something that is on our radar, but, unfortunately, not something we are actively working on.

                                  • Sales teams / groups / clusters in CRM

                                    For companies that work with independent sales teams for different product categories, we need to create different sales groups and each one of them needs to have a very own "sales group admin".

                                    This "sales admin" would only be able to see the deals within his team but not deals from other teams.

                                    Respectively, a sales person from a certain team could not have access to deals that are not in his group.

                                    Lack of this single feature is making our clients use a separate CRM.

                                      • Allow Export Capabilities of Tasks for Hubspot CRM

                                        When we have tasks that require collaboration, or even perhaps meetings to define job roles or other action items associated with those tasks, it would be nice to be able to export the tasks in single cut sheets, but also, it would be nice to export the list of tasks in an excel format with the notes associated for planning, meetings, etc.

                                            This is something we are considering, although I believe it will be farther down the road.

                                            When allowing for multiple owners, there are a number of things to consider:
                                            - How would this work with workflow lead rotation? Does it add a second owner, or remove the first owner.
                                            - How would it work with email merge tokens? When sending a bulk email or sequence with , which owner would be included?
                                            - Would there need to be a primary owner and secondary owner?
