Auto-Trigger Lead Status Transitions based on User/Customer Actions
Currently, when the Deal Stage is set to “Closed/Won,” the Lifecycle Stage is automatically set to Customer. This is very helpful, and it would be wonderful if a similar functionality could be replicated for Lead Status. Particularly, would it be possible to have actions such as Booking A Meeting/Sending An Email or Sequence/Making A Call trigger a Lead Status transition, for instance from “Attempted to Contact” to “Connected (Not Opportunity)”, or from “New” to “Attempted To Contact"? This would help ease our customers’ day-to-day experiences in the CRM, making it easier for them to prioritize their outreach.
Examples: When a contact is enrolled in a Sequence, sent a Template, or Called, Lead Status should transition to “Attempted To Contact.”
Another Example: When a contact/company is associated with a Deal, the Lead Status should transition to “Open Deal.”

Yes, these types of triggers would help! Also, when a new contact is added, Lead Status defaults to "Prospect" (or whatever status default you select).
