link contacts by company
Many times we have several contacts from the same company. When they become a customer though, I would have to close them all out as a customer and enter the custom product field and close date each time.
Would be very helpful to be able to ctrl_select all contacts from that company and either do a group update or link them so they can share the same customer cycle status and info.
It would be great if there was a way to score individuals according to a 'collection' of lead activity, for example +x if >1 lead from the same company has been active within the y months.
I have recently had a situation where there were 3 active leads within an organisation, viewing webinars and downloading content. Each of the leads activity individually did not trigger the score for alert, however, the fact that 3 contacts are active is important, demonstrating engagement and would suggest the requirement to follow-up.
HubSpot customers who are using HubSpot CRM or are integrated with Salesforce will have “Company” fields available in their portal. You can then enable the option to sync Company Lifecycle Stage to all associated Contacts by following this documentation: http://help.hubspot.com/articles/KCS_Article/Contacts/How-does-Sync-company-lifecycle-stage-to-contacts-setting-work, and you can use a Workflow or list import to update other contact properties en masse.

This happens to us on a regular basis also. Would be good if Hubspot had a section in the side bar of a contacts records similar to Facebooks "Do you know these people" whereby it finds contacts that might be from the same company based on matches on certain fields (email, phone number, company name) and then under the suggested contacts is a button to "link contacts as same company" then when you close a contact as a customer it will also close all connected contacts automatically.
Big job perhaps but should be a decent time saver.
